In this regard, Dr. Opoku Prempeh, affectionately called ‘Napo’, stressed that the house-to-house campaign strategy would help the electoral fortunes of the NPP.

“We are chasing every available vote in order to ensure that Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia will win the impending election and succeed Nana Akufo-Addo as the next president.

“To achieve this great feat, we should start house-to-house campaign so we ca reach out to the electorates and preach about the NPPs good works to them”, he said.

Speaking at the official launching of the Ashanti Regional NPP Campaign Working Committees and Women’s Conference, he said the NPP is poised to retain power.

Napo, who commands a lot of respect and support in the NPP, especially in the Ashanti Region, said hard work and effective campaign strategy is needed to ensure victory.

He reiterated that “House to house campaign is key to ensure our victory. We are going door-to-door, room-to-room, office-to-office and market-to-market for votes”.

According to Napo, President Nana Akufo-Addo’s NPP administration has performed exceptionally well in the last eight years so the NPP members should preach about it.

He also urged the NPP members to thoroughly explain Dr. Bawumia’s plans to improve upon Nana Akufo-Addo’s achievements to the electorates to help win more votes.

Party bigwigs such Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka ‘Wontumi’, Francis Asenso Boakye, Akosua Frema Osei Opare and others were in attendance.
