Incumbent General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong (JFK) has established a massive lead over his competitors in the race for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) top administrative post, according to a recent online survey conducted by the Institute of Political Research (IPR).

The poll highlights JFK as the clear frontrunner, creating a substantial gap between himself and the remaining contenders.

Political observers attribute his strong showing to a solid party base built on his performance since taking office in 2022, alongside continuous engagement with regional, constituency, and polling station executives.

Core Message:

JFK’s core message centered on party unity, grassroots empowerment, and structural reorganization following the 2024 elections continues to gain traction among party faithfuls.

While IPR researchers note that an online survey may not fully reflect the eventual vote of official delegates, the results underscore significant early momentum for the incumbent.

National Election Timelines:

The poll comes as the NPP’s National Officers Elections Committee (NOEC) confirms that 47 out of 50 aspirants across nine national positions have officially filed their nomination papers.
