In a move aimed at strengthening the party’s messaging ahead of upcoming electoral tasks, Baffour Asaase Gyimah, a respected and long-serving member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ashanti Regional Communications Team, has been appointed as the new Deputy Communications Director for the region.
According to sources at the party’s headquarters, Gyimah’s appointment received a unanimous endorsement during a Regional Executive Committee (REC) meeting held on Monday.
Party executives expressed confidence that his strong work ethic, calm demeanor, and depth of political experience make him an ideal fit for the role.
The REC noted that Gyimah will bring a wealth of operational and communicative dexterity to the executive desk, perfectly complementing the analytical leadership of the substantive Ashanti Regional Communications Director, Dr. Keskine Owusu Poku.
