2 Minutes

As part of its spiritually resonant “October Commission” outreach, Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC) is mobilizing its congregation for a major evangelical campaign this Saturday.

Pastors, elders, and enthusiastic members of the English-speaking assembly will converge on the bustling streets of Adum to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ across the Central Business District.

The mission is clear, which is to boldly proclaim Christ in the heart of Kumasi’s commercial hub and engage residents, traders, and passersby with a message of hope and redemption.

Divine Mandate:

Unveiling the vision during a passionate address last Sunday, the Resident Pastor of CCC, Reverend Joshua Obeng affectionately known as “PJ”, urged the congregation to fully embrace the Great Commission.

“We have been commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ to go into all the world and spread the Gospel. Our calling as believers is simply to obey and testify of His transforming grace in our lives,” Pastor Obeng declared.

Reiterating the core strategy for the outreach, he encouraged members to approach interactions not as rigid religious lectures, but as heartfelt sharing.

He emphasized that authentic witnessing combines spiritual grounding with lived experience, urging participants to lead with love, warmth, and approachability.

“Evangelism is simply telling others about Christ,” Pastor Obeng explained.

He added that, “every believer once lived apart from Him before accepting Christ as Lord and Savior. Your testimony is simply showing how deeply impactful that divine decision has been in your life.”

Mounting Enthusiasm:

The marching orders have ignited a wave of excitement throughout the church community.

Speaking with reporters shortly after the service, Aaron Erzuah of the CCC Media Ministry expressed profound optimism about hitting the streets of Adum.

“I have witnessed firsthand the profound transformation in my own life since accepting Christ,” Mr. Erzuah shared.

He added that, “it is with immense joy that I look forward to sharing that same liberating truth with the people of Adum.”

Echoing this sentiment, Mr. Isaac Laar, a teacher at the School for Christian Development in Asokwa, voiced his readiness for the weekend mission.

Drawing from personal conviction, he noted that the power of the Gospel is best demonstrated through transformed lives.

“I am a living witness to the power of the Gospel and the beauty of walking with Christ Jesus,” Mr. Laar stated with visible enthusiasm.

He added that “I am completely fired up to share my faith with everyone we meet this Saturday.”
