“NPP Belgium Is Committed To Renewal And Grassroots Mobilisation”—-Hajia Saida Zakari Dauda Affirms

The NPP Belgium Branch Women’s Wing, under the leadership of its Women Organiser, Hajia Saida Zakari Dauda, has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening women’s participation, grassroots mobilisation and meaningful engagement in the affairs of the New Patriotic Party.

Hajia Saida Zakari Dauda led the Women’s Wing’s representation at the NPP Belgium Engagement held in Antwerp under the theme, “Rediscovering the NPP: Principles, Political Tradition and the Path to Renewal.”

She was joined by the Deputy Women Organiser of the NPP Belgium Branch, Mrs Vivian Amoateng, and Mrs Dartey, Antwerp Chapter Secretary, as part of the Women’s Wing’s participation in the programme.

The engagement featured Dr Anane Agye, Executive Director of the Busia Institute for Rural and Democratic Development (BIRDD), who led an insightful conversation on the principles and political tradition of the NPP and the need for renewal as the Party looks towards the future.

Speaking on the significance of the engagement, Hajia Saida Zakari Dauda stressed the importance of ensuring that women are not merely represented within the Party but are actively involved in shaping its ideas, direction and future.

“Our presence must go beyond representation. Women must have a voice, contribute ideas and take an active role in the conversations that will shape the next chapter of our great Party”, Hajia Saida affirmed.

She added that, “We are not merely witnessing the conversation; we are contributing to it and helping to shape the future.”

She further reiterated the commitment of the NPP Belgium Women’s Wing to service, unity, grassroots mobilisation and the empowerment of women to participate meaningfully at all levels of the Party.

The engagement provided an opportunity for members to reflect on the Party’s political heritage and reconnect with its foundational principles.

It was also used to discuss the collective responsibility required to strengthen and renew the NPP for the future.

Under the leadership of Hajia Saida Zakari Dauda, the NPP Belgium Women’s Wing has pledged to remain active, visible and purpose-driven.

Her administration is also committed to creating opportunities for women across the Belgium Branch to contribute their skills, experiences and ideas to the growth of the Party.
