His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, will lead a momentous delegation to the United States for the Millennium Excellence Week America 2026.

Organized by the Millennium Excellence Foundation, the week-long celebration of Ghanaian excellence, heritage, and global partnership will run from Monday, August 24 to Sunday, August 30, 2026.

The programme has been carefully curated to showcase the best of Asanteman and Africa to the world.

The week begins on Monday with the prestigious MEA Otumfuo Golf Invitational USA at 1700 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, VA, bringing together business leaders, diplomats, and golf enthusiasts.

On Tuesday, August 25, the Royal Guest Lecture at Cramton Auditorium, Washington, DC will feature Otumfuo sharing wisdom on leadership, culture, and development with students and the diaspora.

Thursday and Friday, August 27-28, the Africa Business Investment Summit at MGM National Harbor, Maryland will connect African entrepreneurs and U.S. investors to unlock trade opportunities, particularly for Ghana.

On Saturday, August 29, a colourful, fancy Millennium Excellence Awards Gala will be held at the iconic Warner Theatre in Washington, DC, to honour distinguished Africans and friends of Africa.

The week concludes on Sunday, August 30 with the vibrant Akwasidae Kesie Festival at Bowie State University, Maryland, where the diaspora will experience the splendour and tradition of the Golden Stool in America.
