He assured party faithfuls that his leadership would prioritize direct support, active lobbying, and equitable resource distribution to strengthen local campaign machinery ahead of the 2028 general elections.

“I understand firsthand the heavy lifting required of constituency executives and grassroots workers,” Mr. Pyne stated.

He added that, “As your 1st Vice-Chairman, I will be a reliable partner to support your daily efforts so that, together, we can secure victory for the NPP in 2028.”

Strategic Focus:

Drawing on his extensive administrative background, having served as Kumasi Mayor and for several terms as the NPP Ashanti Regional Secretary, Mr. Pyne outlined a clear parliamentary strategy:

Consolidating Safe Seats:

Re-engaging local communities directly to understand voter concerns, resolve internal disputes, and protect existing NPP strongholds.

Reclaiming Orphan Constituencies: Implementing targeted outreach programs to heighten the party’s appeal in non-NPP constituencies, aiming to flip competitive seats nationwide.

“Our mandate is twofold and that is protect our existing parliamentary seats and make the NPP attractive enough to capture strategic new seats across the country,” he emphasized.

Track Record:

Reaction from local executives was overwhelmingly positive.

Several delegates cited Mr. Pyne’s steady ascent through party ranks as proof of his deep understanding of grassroots challenges.

Constituency leaders praised his proven track record during his tenure as Regional Secretary, pointing to his accessible leadership style, strong interpersonal skills, and consistent advocacy for party workers.
