Kumasi based Christian Broadcasting Radio station, Spirit 88.3 fm has been adjudged as the best Christian radio station of the year.
At the third edition of the event headlined and sponsored by Praise Achievements Awards for 2024 in Accra, Spirit FM was recognised for its contributions to the upliftment of Christian gospel and music in Ghana.
The station, according to the organisers have for more than a decade kept to its values of broadcasting unadulterated gospel music, messages and information to its listening public.
Spirit FM has Sunny Fm as its affiliate in Accra.
In the Ashanti region, Spirit 88.3 fm has its footprints all over with many tuning in to listen to inspirational music, gospel messages and Christian messages at all times including the ones from PraiseAfrica.

Speaking to this reporter over the weekend, Kwasi Antwi Freduah, Host of the Inspirational Morning show said God has glorified the station with this honour.
He noted that the staff owed the recognition to God’s grace on their efforts.
Lawrencia Ampem Darko, Host of the station’s afternoon drive show also gave thanks to God Almighty for his favour.
She described as humbling the honour bestowed on the station.

Michael Da Silva, Host of the Afrocentric evening drive noted that God’s grace has driven staff efforts.
He stated that the honour was overwhelming and humbling.
Paa Kwasi Enyan, co-host of the morning show blessed God for his mercy on the station.
He commended other staff members and the management of the station for supporting them to deliver to the glory of God.
