During the NPP US branch’s 30 years anniversary celebrations in Washington DC over the weekend, the party members decided to celebrate Napo on the sidelines of the programme.
Napo turned 56th on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024.
Even though Napo was personally not present in Washington DC, his absence did not deter the organizers of the party, who did their best to honour him for his splendid works.
Reports monitored by Press1News indicates that assortment of foods and drinks were served to the party members, who were in joyous mood as they celebrated Napo.
The highest point of the programme was when a birthday cake was cut on behalf of Napo by the NPP members in the US, who were full of praises for Napo for his hard work and kindness.
The attendants were Mrs. Obaa Yaa Amponsah Frimpong, NPP-USA Chairperson, Kwame Kyeretwie-Amponsah (Stonash) Director of External Affairs and Danny Opoku Antwi NPP-USA Branch Youth Organizer.
Rafiq Sahanun Mogtari, NPP-USA Deputy Youth Organizer, Janis Asare Bediako, Washington DC Metro Chairman, Dr. Kofi Nyame NPP-USA Communications Director, Issah Bala Saeed NPP-USA Branch Organizer, and others were also there.
Virtually, all the attendants of the party, in turns, commended Napo for his significant contributions to the NPP as a political party and the President Akufo-Addo-led government.
They particularly showered tons of praises on Napo for working tirelessly to successfully implement the free Senior High School (SHS) policy when he was the Education Minister at the time.
Others also commended Napo for always extending a helping hand to party members who are in need and his commitment to the development of the ruling political party.
Edmund Kyei, the former Asokwa NPP Vice Chairman and other party members from Ghana also travelled to the US to take part in the merrymaking programme to honour Napo.
