TWO BRAND new motorbikes have been procured by the Member of Parliament(MP) for Ahafo Ano South-East, Francis Manu-Adabor, and presented to the District Health Directorate in his area.
The motorbikes, were purchased in fulfilment of a promise the MP made to the District Health Directorate when he commissioned a CHPs Compound at Aponoaponoso barely a month ago to assist in quality healthcare delivery.
Mr. Kaleem Abdallah Adam, District Coordinating Director of Ahafo Ano South-East, presented the motorbikes on behalf of the MP during a short ceremony.
He said Mr Manu-Adabor was convinced that the motorbikes could play leading roles to help promote quality healthcare delivery in the district, hence his fulfillment of the promise.
Receiving the items, Ms Priscilla Sarkodie, District Health Director, was full of praise to the MP for his significant support for the directorate in particular and healthcare of the constituents in general.
She noted that the legislator has consistently supported the health directorate. She urged other well-meaning individuals, groups and corporate bodies to emulate the MPs good example.
The Assembly Member for Aponoaponoso Electoral Area, John Bosco, also thanked the MP for fulfilling the promise he made to the people.
The two motorbikes would be used by health service staff at Aponoaponoso and Bokruwa CHPs Compounds.
The two health facilities have no electricity so the Assembly Member appealed to the MP and the District Chief Executive, Mr Thomas Owusu Ansah, to help in that regard.
