THREE CASES of Monkey box were recorded in Kumasi but had zero mortality, the Metropolitan Director of Ghana Health Services, Dr. Akosua Omari Sasu has announced.
She explained however that the said cases had no contact with sign and symptoms.
The Health director who was briefing the Deputy Local Gogovernment Minister, Mr. Collins Augustine Ntim, on implementation of health interventions last Monday also said 83 students were diagnosed to have influenza.
She disclosed that no mortality was recorded in that development.
The Minister who is on a tour of the MMDAs to assess the implementation of government programmes commended the metro health directorate for the right leadership and sense of responsibility in executing its role as an implementation unit.
