Richard Ofori-Agyeman Boadi, aka King Zuba, Metropolitan Chief Executive of Kumasi, is aiming to become the Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC one day.
He mentioned that it would be an ultimate dream fulfilled when the Life Patron of Kotoko SC, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, handed him the prestigious office in Kotoko.
He further stated that as a staunch Kotoko supporter, he would count it a joy and blessing to serve in the CEO capacity, hence his decision to work extremely well as Mayor of Kumasi.
“Once I excel as Mayor of Kumasi, Otumfuo will give me the opportunity to serve as CEO of Kotoko one day, and I will not disappoint,” he stated.
King Zuba first made his intention public when he visited the Club’s training grounds at Adako-Jachie prior to their 30th Week clash with rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
During his visit, he promised to gift each of the players, technical handlers, and other members on the trip to the epic clash in Accra ¢1,000, with initial support of $1,000 for their preparation ahead of the match.
