Having gone through dark patches as well as loneliness and death situations in life, the ICGC Pastor said God has proven himself to be a dependable shield who has delivered him from harm.

“The choice of the title came from the narrations of David in the Psalm Chapter 3 where he speaks of how troubles had overcome him, yet in same, God lifted up his head and shielded him from harm”, Rev Appiah-Kubi stated.

Inspiration:

“Kubimuzik” noted that just like David in the Bible narrated how life’s struggles overwhelmed him, he had also experienced same difficulties in life.

Life, he mentioned had been full of challenges but said God in every step of the way has showed mercy.

Rev Appiah-Kubi disclosed that at some stages in life, suicidal thoughts came through as death seemed very close to his doors.

“There had been many times i felt i was going to die due to situations i faced but God came through with his deliverance and i am here alive to inspire others that no matter what they go through, Christ Jesus would show up once they call on him”, the ICGC Pastor encouraged.

Background:

Rev Appiah-Kubi has been a Pastor of the ICGC for nearly 20 years.

With his passion for wholesome worship and the work of God, he has been part of church planting and missionary work as well as the leading of worship in church and at his current branch.

A professional marketer, Rev Appiah-Kubi is also a trained Counsellor, Minister of the Gospel, Youth Adovate as well as a Leadership Coach.

The ICGC worship leader and Pastor is trusting God to turn the lives of people around so they can experience Christ Jesus in the real sense through the “Me Kyem” track and the subsequent album.
