Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC) a famous english speaking church in Kumasi has set up a new branch in the Juaben Municipality.
This was after the church had embarked on a month’s evangelistic mission in the ancient community from the 1st to the 31st of October, 2024.
Popularly termed as the October Commission, the church used the month to donate clinical items and consumables to the Juaben Government Hospital.
The church also provided household items, shoes, clothes including school uniforms, kids wear as well as detergents and drinkables to the entire community at the Adu Boahen Square where it had set up for distribution.
Crusades:
The church climaxed the October Commission to Juaben with a two day Crusade where it ministered to the soul and spiritual needs of the inhabitants.
Preaching the sermon during the two days, Reverend Joshua Obeng, resident Pastor at CCC-Ayigya said the best life one can lead is the one submitted to Christ.
He noted that those who confess Christ Jesus as Lord and Saviour set themselves up for greatness because that’s the essence of living a fullfilled life.
“The gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ I preach to you is the sum total of life and it has the power to make the sick well, it saves the sinner and it provides hope for the downcast”, Rev Obeng stressed during the sermon.
First Church Service:
Having set up in a facility the church had purchased earlier before embarking on the October Commission, the new members had their first service last Sunday.
These residents and inhabitants who are now CCC members were those who accepted Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour during the two days Crusade at the Adu Boahen Square.
Singing and enjoying themselves during the first service, the about 300 people including children and teenagers showed appreciation to God for becoming pioneers at CCC Juaben Branch
Speaking at the CCC main auditorium last Sunday, Reverend Joshua Obeng said “this church is elated to have been used by God to be soul winners and it is our duty to continue to set up at every location in the country so that Christ Jesus can be known, experienced and enjoyed”.
