THERE IS extreme anger and tension at the Driver and Vehicle License Authority (DVLA) office in Kumasi now.
This follows an unpardonable error of Ghanaian citizens being given a German citizenship on their newly issued driver’s license.
According to reports, the drivers declared that they were Ghanaians when they applied for the driver’s license some months ago.
However, unfortunately, instead of Ghanaian citizenship, a German citizenship is rather captured on their driver’s license.
Credible reports indicate that hundreds of drivers who applied for driver’s license in Kumasi have been affected by this error.
The affected drivers besieged the DVLA office in Kumasi and vehemently protested over the error on Monday morning.
Meanwhile, officials of the DVLA, having admitted the great blunder, are working to resolve the anomaly, Press1News learnt.
