THE GHANA Amputee National Team, the Black Challenge, has invited 31 players for a non-residential training in Accra.
The technical handlers of the team, headed by Stephen Richard Obeng, will reduce the number of the squad after days of training.
The lucky players that will make the cut, will be part of the final Black Challenge team that will travel to London for a tournament.
The tri-nation tournament will see the Black Challenge locking horns with hosts, England and Poland, late this month (July).
“The coming days and weeks would be a busy one for the Black Challenge as they gather in Accra ahead of an impending assignment in a tri-nation tournament against England and Poland.
“Players invited to the team includes the entire squad of the reigning African Champions”, a press release sighted by Press1News said.
The statement was issued by the Communications Bureau Ghana Paralympic Committee, Amputee Football Office.
The tri-nation is a new tournament designed by the English Amputee Football Association.
It starts from 29th to 31st July 2022, ahead of the Turkey 2022 Amputee World Cup.
