THE WAIT for a new Pope still lingers as Cardinals failed to elect one after three rounds of voting on Thursday morning.
The search for Pope Francis’ successor started on Wednesday but ended with black smoke from the chimney of the Sistine Chapel.
A black smoke signals no Pope has been elected, while white smoke is an indication that the Conclave, made up of 133 Cardinals, have elected a new Pope.
The new Pope, should be below 80 years old, and he should get the approval of two-thirds of the 133 Cardinals.
The second and third round of voting was held on Thursday morning but the Conclave failed to reach a consensus.
