In a significant spiritual milestone for the Ashanti Region, the Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC) is set to host one of Ghana’s most distinguished revivalists, Reverend Eastwood Anaba, for a three-day power-packed conference.
Titled “Spirit of Revival,” the event will take place from Tuesday, April 21st to Thursday, April 23rd, 2026, at the church’s headquarters in Ayigya, Kumasi.
The upcoming meeting has sparked a wave of fervor across the metropolis, marking the first time in approximately seven years that the Bolgatanga-based preacher frequently referred to as a “son of the house” at CCC will be ministering at the venue.
Legacy of Fire and Grace:
The relationship between Rev. Eastwood Anaba and CCC, led by Reverend Ransford Obeng, spans decades.
Known for his profound theological insights and his role as the Founder of Eastwood Anaba Ministries (EAM) and the Fountain Gate Chapel, Rev. Anaba is a cornerstone of Ghana’s charismatic movement.
His ministry is characterized by a dual focus on the manifestation of the Holy Spirit and “Love Revolution,” a message advocating for practical Christian charity and social transformation.
Voices of Expectation
During Sunday service, the atmosphere at the Ayigya sanctuary was electric as congregants reminisced about past visitations.
Mr. Samuel Gaisie, a member of the School for Christian Development from the Asokwa Community, expressed his eagerness: “I am thrilled that Rev. Eastwood is returning after this hiatus. My expectation is for a fiery encounter with the Holy Spirit that will redefine my walk with God.”
Miss Adwoa Afranewaa, representing the CCC Media Team, echoed this sentiment: “Like many others, I have waited years for this moment. I am ready to witness the move of God through His servant.”
Leadership Endorsements:
The leadership of CCC has underscored the importance of this visitation, urging the Christian community in Kumasi to prioritize the evening sessions.
General Overseer (CCC):
Addressing the congregation earlier in the week, Rev. Ransford Obeng described the visiting revivalist as a man with “fire in his belly.”
He encouraged members to prepare their hearts, noting that the spiritual impact of the meeting would resonate far beyond the borders of the Ashanti Region.
Resident Pastor (CCC):
Pastor Joshua Obeng, Resident Pastor of CCC highlighted the depth of preparation involved, stating:
“I know Rev. Eastwood is already spiritually charged for these three days. My prayer is that we position ourselves in readiness to receive a ‘word in season’, a divine blueprint to carry us through the remainder of the year.”
Logistics and Coordination:
To ensure the event is accessible to all residents of Kumasi and its environs, the CCC administration has organized a comprehensive transportation network.
Key Community Pickup Points: Adum, Abuakwa, Kotwi, Tanoso
Adum, Ahodwo, Daban, Atonsu, Ejisu, Kwaso, Abrankese, Ayigya and many others in the Ashanti Region.
