“IT IS my sincere hope and prayer that greater doors of leadership would soon open for you to continue your good works for the country”.

These were the exact words of the King of Dagbon, His Royal Majesty, Yaa Naa Abubakari Mahama, to Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka ‘Napo’.

 

 

Napo, who is the Energy Minister and MP for Manhyia South, was at the Gbewa Palace in Yendi, to pay homage to the King on Monday.

The Yaa Naa said he was highly impressed with Napo’s sacrifices, efforts and hardwork, aimed at bringing positive changes in the country, so far.

According to him, as the Education Minister, Napo, against all odds, worked tirelessly for the smooth implementation of the free SHS programme.

The powerful traditional leader said the free SHS policy is now making positive impact in the lives of Ghanaians so Napo should be praised.

He said Napo has almost become identical with success, stressing that success becomes the order of the day wherever Napo finds himself to work.

According to him, Napo is now changing the face of the Energy sector to benefit the country, after impressing at the Ministry of Education.

Considering Napo’s impressive works in government, the Yaa Naa said definitely greater leadership doors will open for him soon.

Without mincing words, he stated that Napo has special leadership qualities, which will help transform the country to greater heights in future.

The Yaa Naa therefore urged Napo to continue to sacrifice his energy, knowledge and time to the service of mother Ghana and he would rewarded soon.

Dr. Opoku Prempeh thanked the Dagbon Overlord for his words of encouragement and support, and promised to continue to deliver for the country.
