THE PORTUGUESE National Team players attended a mega party in Qatar on Friday night.

The merry making event was organized by their talisman and captain, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The event took place barely 24 hours after Portugal laboured to a 3-2 victory over Ghana.

Ronaldo who scored via penalty during the cagey contest, personally organized the party.

According to reports, the party was Ronaldo’s own way of thanking his teammates for the win.

Ronaldo, Press1News has gathered, thinks the Ghana game was very difficult.

In this regard, he organized the party to express his deep appreciation to his colleagues.

The party was also intended to motivate the Portugal players to win their remaining games.

Ronaldo, 37, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, is certainly playing in his last FIFA World Cup.

He is therefore ready to do everything humanly possible to help Portugal to win the trophy.

Meanwhile, Portugal beat Uruguay 2-0 on Monday to progress to the next stage of the Mundial.

On that same day, Ghana defeated Korea Republic 3-2 to boost their chances of qualifying.
