Former Chief Executive Officer of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Prof. Otchere Addai-Mensah, has thrown his full weight behind Dr. Francis Adomako in his bid to become the Ashanti Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In what observers describe as a major boost to Dr. Adomako’s campaign, Prof. Addai-Mensah personally accompanied him to his vetting on Monday, reaffirming his confidence in the candidate’s ability to serve the party at the regional level.

Speaking after the vetting, Prof. Addai-Mensah said Dr. Adomako, fondly known as ‘Francois’, possesses the requisite experience, competence, discipline, and leadership qualities needed to steer the affairs of the NPP in the Ashanti Region.

“Dr. Francis Adomako Francois has demonstrated commitment, capacity, and character. He understands party structures and has the discipline to unite members for victory,” Prof. Addai-Mensah stated.

The former KATH boss made a direct appeal to delegates across the 47 constituencies in the region to vote for Dr. Adomako on the ballot.

“I call on all delegates in the Ashanti Region to support Dr. Francois by voting Number One (1) on the ballot. He is the right man for the job at this critical time,” he added.
