MTN Assists NSS To Carry Out Registrations.

MTN Ghana through its affiliate company, Ashcell Limited has provided the National Service Secretariat (NSS) with a range stationery materials.

The gesture, the company noted is to enable the NSS perform its functions and duties of registering and facilitating the placement procedures for students who are to carry out their mandatory national service.

Presenting the items to Prince Kankam  Boadu, Ashanti Regional Director of the NSS, Kofi Adu Acheampong of Ashcell Limited who was supported Samuel Baah and Helena Mensah commended the NSS for carrying out their mandates seamlessly every year.

“We at Ashcell Limited and MTN are happy to support the activities and operations of the NSS so that it can continue to facilitate the registration, posting and other procedures at the Secretariat”, Mr Acheampong stated.

Reception:

Receiving the items on behalf of the NSS, Mr Kankam Boadu thanked MTN and Ashcell for the support.

He noted that such gestures continue to help the NSS to carry out its duties.

Mr Boadu said items such as A4 sheets, pens and envelopes as well as other stationery stuff are in constant need anytime registration begins at the Secretariat.

“I on behalf of NSS want to thank MTN and Ashcell Limited for this gesture and for us this demonstrates the respect we have for partnerships and the need to nurture same so that we can benefit fully from the fruits that come with it”, the Regional Director stated.

Items Donated:

Items donated by Ashcell Limited were Twenty (20) boxes of A4 sheets, Twenty (20) packs of envelopes and Ten (10) boxes of Bic Pens.

In addition the team presented Fifteen (15)  pieces of Staple machines and Two (2) packs of hard tissue.

Present at the ceremony were the Kumasi Metro Director of the NSS, Baffuor Asaase Gyimah, Public Relations Officer of Ashanti NSS, Emmanuel Tweneboah Kodua and some staff at the Regional Secretariat.
