STORY

THE MANHYIA South New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially declared the commencement of vigorous political campaign for election 2024.

The important announcement was made right after  the election of the party’s new executives to steer the affairs of the NPP for the next four years.

Richard Adjei Mensah Ofori-Atta, who was elected as Chairman via popular acclamation, has stated that the party will chase every available votes.

He said the Manhyia South NPP has adopted house-to-house campaign strategy since it is very effective, especially in wooing the floating voters.

In this regard, Ofori-Atta aka ‘Tomtom’, on behalf of the elected executives, charged the NPP members in the area to visit homes and campaign for votes.

According to him, the next presidential and parliamentary elections are just around the corner so the NPP members should start early campaign.

Tomtom stated that President Nana Akufo-Addo’s government has done a lot to better the lives of the citizenry so NPP members should trumpet it.

Also, he said Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka ‘Napo’, the Manhyia South NPP MP, has done well so the party members should preach about his positive records.

“Napo, who is the Energy Minister, is the best performing minister in the country presently, and we shall support him to sustain his good works”, he assured.

The elected executives are Tomtom, Chairman, Seth Twumasi, First Vice Chairman and Lawyer Kingsley Bonsu Kyeretwie, Second Vice Chairman.

The rest are Mary Coker, Women Organizer, Haruna Alhassan, Secretary, Oscar Boah, Assistant Secretary and Kofi Amoah Asamoah, Treasurer.

The other elected Manhyia South NPP executives are Alhaji Abubakar, Organizer, Bashiru Issaka, NASARA and Henry Adu Kobi, Youth Organizer.
