ADWOA KONADU aka ‘Maame K’ has declared her intentions to contest for the Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) Women’s Organizer position.

In an exclusive interview with Press1News, she stated that she would be accessible at all times and also work hard to improve the welfare of the NPP women’s wing.

“I will not be an armchair Ashanti Regional NPP Women’s Organizer. I will be accessible and will constantly visit the constituencies to work with the women for the NPP”.

Maame K, who previously worked at the Ashanti Regional NPP office at Krofrom, observed that things were not well for the party’s women’s wing in the Ashanti Region now.

According to her, she is entering the party race with the sole intention to bring the needed renaissance, hope and confidence to the NPP women, ahead of elections 2024.

“Our women’s wing is not doing well as I speak with you now and I am coming to implement proper policies and programmes to change the deplorable trend”, she said.

She said the NPP women’s wing, especially in the Ashanti Region, would play a significant role to help the party to retain power in 2024 “and I will provide good leadership”.

Maame K, who is widely known to be a hard working and a passionate NPP member, announced that she would start her campaign at Bosome Freho Constituency on Saturday.
