As a gesture of appreciation for the advisory body, Dr. Adomako presented the elders and patrons with custom hampers and undisclosed cash gifts.

Vision:

Dr. Adomako used the occasion to formally inform the Council of his decision to contest the upcoming Regional Executive elections for the position of Regional Secretary.

Reflecting on his tenure, Dr. Adomako noted that having served two successful terms as the Regional Organiser, the time is ripe for him to transition into a central administrative role.

He emphasized that the experience and expertise he has garnered over the past eight years uniquely qualify him to guide the party forward.

“I sincerely believe it is time for me to assume a more central position where I can administer the party and guide its restructuring efforts,” Dr. Adomako stated.

He added, “This will ensure we are in the best possible shape to recapture the parliamentary seats we lost in Ashanti and ultimately propel the NPP to victory in the 2028 national elections.”

Institutional Memory:

Addressing his administrative capabilities, Dr. Adomako emphasized that at this crucial juncture, the NPP requires leadership capable of driving grassroots mobilization and institutional restructuring, functions that fall directly under the mandate of the Regional Secretary.

He stressed that his dual-term experience as Regional Organiser has equipped him with invaluable institutional memory, deep operational knowledge, and refined organizational skills.

“I am aspiring to become the Regional Secretary to inject fresh ideas into the office, unite the party, and mobilize our human resources,” he added.

Dr Adomako added, “Together, we will deliver the results needed to recapture political power in 2028.”

Council of Elders Spokesperson:

Speaking to the media, Mr. Victor Owusu, Secretary to the Ashanti Regional Council of Elders, commended Dr. Adomako for his thoughtfulness in hosting the elders on Father’s Day.

He noted that such gatherings provide an invaluable space for senior party members to offer guidance to current executives.

Mr. Owusu added that the Council had closely monitored Dr. Adomako’s track record, praising him for distinguishing himself throughout his two terms as Regional Organiser.

“Members of this body are convinced that with the right leadership, the NPP in the Ashanti Region can successfully regain the ground it lost in the 2024 general elections,” Mr. Owusu remarked.

Dignitaries:

The high-profile lunch brought together several prominent party figures, including:

Hon. Kofi Frimpong, former Member of Parliament

Madam Serwaah Derkye, former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE)

Mr. F.F. Anto, former National 1st Vice Chairperson of the NPP

Several other notable party patrons and stalwarts were also in attendance to support the occasion.
