FORMER CAMEROONIAN football star, Samuel Eto’o, was expected in the country on Thursday evening.

The ex-African Best Footballer is now an Ambassador for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

 

 

He is visiting the country to promote the Mundial, which is just three months away from now.

Henry Asante Twum, the GFA Head of Communications, announced Eto’o’s historic visit.

“Eto’o, an Ambassador for the Qatar 2022 FIFA world Cup, will arrive in the country on Thursday.

“He will stay in Accra for two days and explain some innovations about the Qatar World Cup”  he said.

Asante Twum was speaking with Otec FM in Kumasi and it was monitored by Press1News.

Eto’o in his heydays, played actively for FC Barcelona in Spain and other top European clubs.
