Elohim Theological College confers Honorary Doctorate degree on Dr. Ayisi-Boateng

The Elohim Theological College and Seminary, an Educational Arm for United Clergy International Association which is  accredited by Worldwide Enumerical Accreditation Network, has conferred an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters Award (Honoris Causa) on Dr. George Ayisi-Boateng, Ghana’s former Ambassador to South Africa. 

He thus answers Dr. Dr. George Ayisi-Boateng having obtained a doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in 2021 from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa.

 

 

He also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in 2011 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Education.

Dr. Ayisi-Boateng has served variously as Regional Accountant of Ghana Oil Company, Board member of Tema Oil Refinery, a founding member of the New PatrioticParty (NPP) and Director of Finance and Administration for Kumasi Asante Kotoko Football Club, among other capacities as his  contribution to nation building over the years.

Archbishop-Elect Dr. Kwame Aburam Anoff Sr., who performed the conferment together with Bishop Dr. Prince Opoku Agyei and Dr.

Emmanuel Osei Boateng constituting the Doctoral Board of the College, said the honour was in recognition of Dr. Ayisi-Boateng’s contribution to society as a diplomat, Business Executive,  philanthropist, a patriot and a social advocate.

“The Elohim Theological College and Seminary sees Dr. Ayisi-Boateng as a mentor and a role model to many, a life coach, a researcher a  humanitarian”  Bishop Dr. Anoff Sr. noted adding that through his philanthropic services over the years many members of society have experienced new life, salvation and hope.

The conferment was also in appreciation of “for your dedication to your calling as a humanitarian and philanthropist, intellectual insights, priceless and tireless research into community and social development related issues”,  a citation matching the Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters Award.

It was for these feats  and qualities that the College deemed it fit to bestow Doctor of Humane Letters (HonorisCausa) on Dr. Ayisi-Boateng and for which reason his name shall be included in the College’s Hall of Fame.

Bishop Dr. Anoff noted at the conferment and presentation ceremony in Kumasi on Friday that it is vital to honour and appreciate legends when they are alive an to uphold the good image of their reputation.

Dr. Ayisi-Boateng who also received a citation
expressed appreciation for the honour done him and appealed to members of society to always set for themselves achievable goals.
