THE OUTSTANDING works of David Annan popularly called ‘Dave Hammer Barima’, a well-known media personality in the country, has been recognized on the global stage.

He has been nominated as the Ashanti Regional Best Lunch Time Host of the Year at Hello 101.5fm for an upcoming international event.

Dubbed ‘The Adinkra Heroes Night Excellence Awards 2023’, the upcoming event would take place in New York, US, on 25th November 2023.

This international recognition comes after Dave Hammer was named the ‘Best Entertainment Show Host’ at the 3rd edition of the Floodlight Media Excellence Awards 2022 in Kumasi.

As a reminder, Dave Hammer is the host of the Entertainment Review show, which is aired on Hello 101.5 fm in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.

He has received other prestigious and enviable awards for his outstanding works in the radio and the entertainment industry in the past.

For instance, Dave Hammer, who is a household name in the radio industry, was honoured during the ‘2019 Presidential Globe African Heroes Awards’.

During the recently held Floodlight Media Excellence Awards, Dave Hammer, easily, emerged as the winner in the Best Entertainment Show Category.

Dave Hammer was given a standing ovation when his name was mentioned as the winner of the Best Entertainment Show Host, a strong indication that he truly deserved the top award.

The event is used by the organizers to honour media professionals who have worked tirelessly and demonstrated excellent leadership in creating a vision and a future for Ghana’s media environment.

To help make the event memorable and colourful, some seasoned Ghanian artists were there to perform on the night to entertain the attendants.

Some top radio personalities,  who graced the event, congratulated Dave Hammer for winning the Best Entertainment Show Host in Ashanti Region and also for his nomination in the upcoming international awards in New York, US.
