Agadas Is New Kotoko Skipper

Less than 1 minute Minutes

KUMASI ASANTE Kotoko SC has picked their workaholic defensive midfielder, Richard Boadu alias ‘Agadas’ as their new captain.

The former Medeama hard-tackler and good passer of the ball, will be deputised by Yusif Mubarak, a central defender.

The choice of Richard Boadu as the club’s captain follows Kotoko’s ex-captain, Ismail Ganiyu’s alleged decision to terminate his contract with the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League Champions.

Goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad, Christopher Nattey, and Pouaty Dendoum are the Club’s second, third and fourth deputy captains in that order.

Meanwhile, Kotoko are currently in Sudan for the second half of their pre-season training, ahead of the African Champions League and domestic competitions next season.

Kotoko would engage in a number of high profiled international friendly duels to test their strength as part of their pre-season plan.
