Samson Deen Joins Accra-2023 Games LOC

STORY

SAMSON DEEN, one of the finest sports personalities in the country, is the latest member to serve on the Accra 2023 African Games Local Organizing Committee (LOC).

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif, officially sworn Samson Deen into the African Games LOC team during a short and colourful ceremony in Accra on Thursday.

Significantly, Samson Deen currently doubles as the African Paralympic Committee President and the President of the Ghana Paralympic Committee.

The Sports Minister, Mustapha Usif, in his succinct remarks during the swearing in ceremony, urged Samson Deen to
support other committee members to make the games successful.

He particularly charged Samson Deen to bring his rich managerial and organizational knowledge in sports to bear so that the upcoming games in Accra would be one-of-a-kind.

“I congratulate you on your appointment as a member of the Accra 2023 African Games, which will take place next year, and also urge you to support other members to make the event grand”.

The chairman of the LOC Accra2023 African Games, Dr. Kwaku Ofosu Asare and Reks Brobby, the Deputy Chief Operating Officer, were present during the swearing in ceremony.

Samson Deen, who was overly excited, thanked the minister for the honour of appointing him to serve on the committee, assuring to do his utmost best to make the games successful.
