“Today’s inauguration shows that you are ready to serve the NPP and it is your duty to speak good about the party, propagate its policies wherever you go and to also defend persons and leaders in the party as well policies wherever you find yourself so that collectively we can work to win both the parliamentary and Presidential elections in 2024”, the Women’s Organiser charged.
Member of Parliament:
On his part, Hon Yaw Frimpong Addo, MP for Manso Adubia said the inauguration of the Women’s wing at Dadease is a good thing.
He noted that the work of the wing would complement the others under the organisational structure of the NPP.
Women, the MP mentioned were good at organising and campaigning and called for support for the wing so that they could deliver on their mandate.
“We must increase our presence and following in Manso Adubia and therefore the decision by the Women’s Organiser to inaugurate and organise the women in this community is a good initiative and I commit to support the activities to ensure we retain both the Parliamentary and Presidential positions for the NPP in the upcoming 2024 elections”, the MP stated.
The Women’s Organiser also presented food items such as rice, cooking oil and sardines to the women groups in the Dadease community.
The Wing also recognised and awarded certificates to persons who have worked exceptionally well for the NPP in the community.
Charging them, Miss Ruth Osei asked the wing to reach out to persons who may have felt alienated from the party.
“Please use your inauguration today to reach out to NPP members who may have stopped working for the party for various reasons they may have and reconcile them to our fold. Let us together work to shore up our numbers so that we can retain the MP seat and increase our votes to propel our flagbearer we choose to become President after Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2024”, the women’s organiser stressed.
