MR. EVANS Kofi Kwafo, Chief Executive Officer of EKK Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO), based in Kumasi, has recommended for the public to design routine body exercises.

This, he noted, would ensure that they keep their bodies in shape and in good health at all times throughout the year.

Speaking to this reporter after walking with the stars in the media on the 6th of March, 2023 through the principal streets of Kumasi, Mr Kwafo said he was happy people got the chance to burn some fat and calories.

‘’It is good to eat well but nothing beats balancing it with body exercise so that one can become healthy all the time’’, the CEO stated.

Setting off from the Suame roundabout as early as 5am, participants of the EKK Charity Foundation Walk with the stars used the Krofrom route through to the Airport roundabout to the Aboabo community.

The participants continued the brisk walk from the Amakom traffic light through to anloga junction and headed for the route to the Sports stadium and ended at the Heroes Park inside the Baba Yara sports stadium.

Joined by the Majority leader, Hon Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, the participants showed great interest in the aerobics session at the Heroes Park.

The medical team from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) having set up received members of the walk who visited to check for their body mass, malaria and sugar levels and statuses in other health conditions.

Addressing participants at the end of the exercise, Hon Mensah Bonsu thanked the organisers especially the CEO of EKK Foundation for the initiative.

He noted that physical exercises profit a lot and have the potential to put the body in good and healthy shape.

Kwame Adinkra, veteran Morning Show Host at Pure FM thanked Mr Kwafo for showing respect to the media and partnering with them for his activities.

Omanhene Adu Boakye, Sompa Fm morning show host commended the EKK Foundation and its CEO for initiating the walk with the stars and ensuring that they all participated in it fully.
