VICE PRESIDENT Dr. Bawumia was mobbed at the Kumasi Airport few days ago.

This was when the second gentleman of the land visited the city for a programme.

Dr. Bawumia had planned to storm the city quietly, Press1News has learnt.

But unknown to the Veep, reports of his visit to Kumasi had been leaked.

He was therefore stunned when he saw a crowd at the airport, waiting for him.

Clad in New Patriotic Party (NPP) colours, the crowd mobbed Dr. Bawumia.

The security personnel present faced a difficult time dealing with the huge crowd.

Dr. Bawumia, who clearly looked happy, was even seen waving to the excited crowd.

The Vice President has been tipped to run for president on NPP ticket in 2024.
