Story:

THE 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, without doubt, is living up to expectations in terms of patronage, so far.

The topmost sporting event in the world has received massive support, especially among residents of the host country.

Virtually, all activities in Qatar have come to an abrupt halt as the Mundial has seemingly overshadowed everything.

Since the start of the competition, soccer fans have been trooping to the stadiums to make the event memorable.

Almost, all the group matches played in the tournament so far have attracted huge fans to the stadiums.

Soccer fans that were not lucky enough to get tickets to the stadiums, have not been left out of the fun.

When Press1News visited the Fan Zone in Qatar, hundreds of soccer fans were seen watching the matches on giant TV sets.

Interestingly, during a visit to the Mall of Qatar some fans were seen sitting on floors as they watched the games from giant screens.

Other soccer fans were also seen watching the matches from their mobile phones in the city, an indication that the World Cup Fever has indeed gripped Qatar.
