Vote For Dr Bawumia For Continuous Development—-Madam Patricia Appiagyei Appeals

The Member of Parliament for Asokwa and Deputy Majority Leader, Hon Patricia Appiagyei has appealed to the Ghanaian electorate to retain the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in government so as to enable it to continue with its good policies for the transformation of Ghana.

Addressing a mammoth rally at Asokwa after a two-hour walk from the Dompoase junction through the principal streets of Kumasi, the Asokwa legislator and 4th time parliamentary candidate for the NPP said the party has Ghanaians at heart.

The free education policy, the one district one factory and the payment of teacher and nursing training allowances, the MP stated were testament of the commitment of the party to the welfare and wellbeing of the Ghanaian people.

“I am appealing to the Ghanaian Electorate to vote for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia so as to enable him continue with policies and programs that would ensure the total transformation of the country and vote for me as Asokwa MP”, Madam Appiagyei appealed.

She urged all persons who have attained the age of 18 years to take advantage of Tuesday’s limited registration exercise to do so since that would enable them to vote in the upcoming general elections.

Constituency Chairman:

Reverend Benjamin Fosu Nkromah, Asokwa NPP Constituency Chairman urged Asokwa residents to vote en bloc for Dr Bawumia as President and Madam Patricia Appiagyei as Member of Parliament on December 7.

“Voting for the two would mean continued development for the country as a whole and the Asokwa Constituency in particular”, the Chairman stated.

Ashanti Regional Women’s Organizer:

Addressing the crowd, Nana Ama Ampomah, Ashanti Regional Women’s Organizer commended all participants including MMDCEs, regional, constituency as well as polling station executives and coordinators for sacrificing their time, energy and resources to be part of the walk.

She charged the party members to begin the 2024 campaign on a retail basis where they engage persons they meet on the way with the good policies of the party.

The Women’s Leader said that it was only by propagating the good policies and progams of the NPP that would make people appreciate the work the NPP had done in the two terms in government.

“Let’s go from this walk today and tell the Ghanaian electorate what we have done in government for the eight (8) years they gave us in government and use same to appeal to them to vote for Dr Bawumia and our Parliamentary candidates on December 7 for us to continue with the development of the country”, Madam Ampomah stressed.

Municipal Chief Executive:

Asokwa Municipal Chief Executive(MCE), Chief Akwannuasah Gyimah rallied the party members to continue to be united to enable them prosecute a solid campaign ahead of the December general elections.

He stated that the NPP had performed creditably in government and deserves another term in government.

“Despite our good performances
In government we would still need to tell the Ghanaian electorate about it and let them know that a vote for Dr Bawumia and NPP parliamentary candidates would mean continued development of Ghana”, the MCE posited.

Chief Executives Of State Agencies

Mr Albert Adu Boahen, Chief Executive Officer for the Metro Mass Transport company(MMT) thanked the party supporters and sympathisers for showing solidarity with the Asokwa NPP and MP.

He asked that the party continues to walk in the path of unity to enter the campaign season.

Dr Ben Asante, Chief Executive Officer for the Ghana Gas Company commended the party members for demonstrating oneness during the walk.

He urged that same attitude and behavior is carried through the period of campaign so Ghanaians would feel confident voting to retain the party in power.

Other Dignitaries:

Present at the walk were other notable party members and personalities such as the DCE for Amansie South, Clement Opoku Gyamfi (CID) Lord Inusah Lansah, MCE For Tafo, Nana Yaw Wiredu, Presiding Member for Asokwa Municipal Assembly and John Kwame Duodu (Sir John), First Vice Chairman Atwima Nwabiagya NPP Constituency.

Others were Kwabena Appiah Ampofo (Vyrus), Managing Director of State Housing Company Limited, Francis Adomako, Ashanti Regional Organizer, Raphael Sarfo Patrick, NPP Regional Youth Organiser, Papa Yaw Asare Bediako John, Asokwa Constituency Secretary, and a host of others.
