SIMBA SC of Tanzania have arrived safely in Sudan ahead of their international friendly duel against Ghana Champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC, on Sunday August 28, 2022.

Former Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea playmaker, August Okrah, would be playing his first game against a Ghanaian club after signing the dotted lines for Simba SC.

 

 

The high profile friendly encounter forms part of preparations of the two African giants, ahead of the upcoming CAF Champions League in September.

Kotoko are currently camping in Sudan for the second half of their preseason training to prepare adequately for thelr league title defense and the Champions League.

In a related development, Kotoko would be playing their second international friendly game with Al Hilal of Sudan this evening.

Captained by former Kotoko defender, Imoro Ibrahim, Al Hilal defeated the Porcupine Warriors by two goals to nil when the two clubs clashed few days ago.

Kotoko is going into today’s game with the sole intention of securing a revenge against the Sudanese side.
