Stray cattle roaming freely in the streets of Kumasi

STORY

STRAY CATTLE continues to cause nuisance in the Greater Kumasi area.

Press1News spotted hordes of the animals in the city on Thursday afternoon.

Strangely, there was no caretaker as the cattle were virtually on their own.

The animals, numbering about 20, were seen walking majestically in the streets.

Their presence alone caused vehicular traffic at Sawaba in the Greater Kumasi.

Clearly, the presence of the huge-looking animals also posed threat to humans.

Some of the aggrieved people in the city shared their anger with Press1News.

“We don’t have competent people managing Kumasi, hence this ugly spectacle.

“They don’t value human lives, period!!!”, Nana Achiaa Adusei Poku fumed.

Solomon Agyapong, a resident of Tech, jabbed the city authorities for sleeping on the job.

Kwadwo Essel, a driver, said the animals can easily cause accident on the road.

He therefore urged the authorities concerned to quickly intervene to avoid disaster.
