INCUMBENT MEMBER of Parliament for Tano North Constituency in the Ahafo Region, Hon Mrs Freda Prempeh has appealed to delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the area to grant her another term as their representative in the upcoming primary so she could continue with her good works.

Picking and filing her nomination papers on same day of Wednesday at the party’s headquarters amidst brass band music with an enthusiastic crowd of polling station executives and coordinators following, Madam Prempeh said her decision to seek for a fourth term was borne out of a desire to lobby for more development projects in addition to the over 150 basic amenities she had lobbied for all the communities under Tano North.

Presenting the forms to the constituency secretary, Stephen Ntiamoah Takyi at the party’s office at Duayaw Nkwanta, Madam Prempeh said she was by that singular act fulfilling the requirement as stipulated in the NPP constitution and the regulations governing the conduct of the upcoming internal primary in the constituency.

“I am delighted to present my nomination forms paid for by coordinators and polling station executives in this constituency who are asking that I seek a fourth term to do more for the people including creating opportunities of jobs for the youth and the aged. And due to other responsibilities I have in Parliament i am doing it today so i can represent them in Parliament as the House rises on Friday”, Madam Prempeh stated with a smile.
