GEORGE OPOKU Amponsah, of Juaben Abuoso and Proprietor of Adusei Memorial Farms, was adjudged the Best Youth Farmer in the Juaben
Municipality in the Ashanti region during the Farmers Day forum at Nkyerepoaso.

Amponsah, a former Assemblyman of Juaben and Personal Assistant to the former Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), took home a certificate and Neon refrigerator as his prize.

 

 

The awardee dedicated the award to his late father, Opanin ofi Adusei Amponsah, brother of legendary Ghanaian folklore musician, Agya Koo Nimo.

George Amponsah stressed the need for the youth to contribute their quota in changing the narrative of rural agriculture.
