THE IGP, George Akuffo Dampare, has arrived at the Islamic SHS in Kumasi right now.

Press1News, few minutes ago, predicted his imminent visit to the troubled school.

He was accompanied by top police officers from the police headquarters in Accra.

Akuffo Dampare will hold close door meetings with the leadership of the school.

They will discuss why students of the school blocked the Abrepo to Bohyen road.

The meeting will also center on why police fired tear gas and injured some students.

Students of the Islamic school had blocked the road over frequent crashes in the area.

Policemen sent to restore calm, fired tear gas and caused injuries to some of the students.
