Amansie South DCE Commissions Classroom block, lavatories and inspects Road projects

CLEMENT OPOKU Gyamfi, District Chief Executive Officer (DCE) of Amansie South has commissioned a two-unit classroom block for the Aponapon Muslim Mission School. 

An attached mosque at the Muslim Mission School was also commissioned by the DCE and Muslim leaders at Aponapon.

 

 

The DCE in addition also commissioned an ultra modern 24 seater toilet facility at Aponapon on same day.

To boost revenue generation in the district, Hon Gyamfi donated a brand new Nissan Navara pick-up vehicle to the Revenue Department at the Assembly.

Inspection:

Later in the day, the DCE together with staff of the Assembly inspected road projects from Kensere Nkwanta to Kumpese Junction, very important roads in the district.

Hon Gyamfi interacted with the contractors and workers on the progress of works.

He encouraged them to deliver on time to enable the residents have the opportunity use same.

The DCE on the following day, the 25th of May, 2023 joined the former MP for Manso Nkwanta, Hon Joseph Albert Quarm at Nsiana to inaugurate a newly built hospital.

The former MP had put up the health facility to serve  the Nsiana community and adjoining towns.

Interview:

Speaking to this reporter, the DCE noted that his desire is to ensure issues like education, road infrastructure and other forms of development are vigorously pursued by the Assembly.

He revealed that access to lavatory and other social amenities in Amansie South was a pressing matter.

This, he stated gives him encouragement to do more to help the people to overcome this challenge.

“These projects are not the only ones I have in mind because I plan to do more with the help of God and my staff at the Amansie South Assembly”, the DCE stressed.
