Yammin Poised For Victory In NDC Polls

A TOP contender for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Organizer position, Joseph Yammin, insists he will win Saturday’s polls with a landslide.

According to the outspoken politician, who is based in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region, his campaign has been smooth and he is expecting nothing but a big victory.

Joseph Yammin, who is a former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, said the NDC delegates welcomed him with open arms wherever he visited to campaign to his amazement.

“It has been a very encouraging campaign for me so far as I toured the entire country and explaining my campaign message to woo votes from our noble party members.

“I was wholeheartedly welcomed and assured by the NDC delegates of their votes, and based on their assurances, surely victory will be clear and wide for me”, he predicted.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Press1News, Yammin said he has the backing of the entire Ashanti Regional NDC, which boasts of a huge 47 constituencies.

“The bigwigs in the NDC in the Ashanti Region, including our Chairman, Nana Kwasi, Lawyer Evans Amankwa, Yaw Obimpeh and others are rooting for me”, he disclosed.

Yammin, who is also a former Deputy Sports Minister, stated emphatically that his campaign message has been accepted by the delegates so he would win the elections.

According to him, as the NDC National Organizer, he would make sure that logistics are always available for the party members to enable them campaign for victory 2024.

Yammin, who was confident that the NDC would win the 2024 elections, said the party would surely embrace peace after their internal polls “and snatch victory from NPP”.

He noted that the Ashanti Region could help the NDC to realize its ambition of ending the ‘terror’ reign of the NPP through the ballot box in 2024, which is two years away.

Yammin said, when elected as the NDC National Organizer, he would make sure that the NDC would adopt an effective campaign strategy for the NDC win more votes in Ashanti.
