THE MANAGING Director for Metro Mass Transit Ltd has urged branch managers in his outfit to be proactive in their way of operations.

He also urged them to use good communication strategies to share information to enhance their operations.

The Managing Director said these during a two-day training workshop on Leadership and Communications for all the Branch Managers and some selected staff of the company in Kumasi.

The  two-day training workshop focused on equipping the Branch Managers who serve as the interface between the company and all its stakeholders in the respective regions with the necessary skills and knowledge.

“These skills would help them in managing and communicating corporate information as provided for in the organization’s policy document on information and communications” the MD stated.

Resource Person:

The Resource Person for the meeting, James Kwabena Bomfeh (PhD) urged the participants to respond to issues with speed and with facts.

These, he noted would stand them a good stead in managing their outfits.

“Act with speed on issues that border on your operations and be factual with what you put by way of information so that people will have confidence in you”, Mr Bomfeh intimated.

Commendation:

The MD thanked the Resource Person, Kwabena Bomfeh (PhD) for sharing such useful, educative information and also spending quality time with them.

He also indicated that the Board and Management of Metro Mass Transit Ltd was very committed to the development of the human resource base of the company.

He noted that it will continue to invest greatly in building the knowledge base and capacity of all categories of employees for sustainable improvements in their operations.
