Sportslife Academy crowned Champions for U17 Championship in Asante Akyem

ENTERPRISING JUVENILE football club, Sportslife owned by Hon Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, former Member of Parliament of Asante Akyem North and former Board Chairman of National Sports Authority are the new crowned Champions of Juvenile U17 Championship in the Asante Akyem. 

Prior to this year’s win, the club had won the Under 15 version for the past two years.

After clinching the top most spot in their group, the team did not see any force standing to halt them and the giant trophy as they battled it all with Universal from Konongo.

They will now be representing Asante Akyem teams  as new winners in the Regional Juvenile Under 17 Championship at Baba Yara.

The Baba Yara competition would be for winners from other juvenile teams that won the aged competitions from the Metropolis,  Municipal and District Assemblies across Ashanti.

The teams would then be grouped and paired to start the competition in proper manner.

At the end the winner would be crowned as tbe best juvenile team for Ashanti and would be representing the region at an inter regional competitions later to determine the best juvenile club in Ghana.

Commendation:

Speaking to this reporter,  Hon Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, who is currently the CEO for the Ghana Digital Centres Limited commended the team for the feat it has chalked.

He praised the relentless effort of the coaches and team managers.

Hon Agyemang also lauded the players for showing commitment to the course of the club and playing to instructions of their coaches.

“This feat is commendable and just as you have exhibited discipline and tenacity I believe that by heeding to your coaches you can do exploits at the upcoming biggest event at the Baba Yara stadium where you can beat the rest to become regional champions”, Hon Baah Agyemang stated.
