A SELF-acclaimed junkie has openly begged President Nana Akufo-Addo to consider reducing the price of Tramadol.

Taking part in the ‘Arise Ghana Demonstration’, in Accra today, the man bemoaned that the high price of ‘Tramol’ is his bane.

He said “Tramol was affordable during the National Democratic Congress (NDC) era but things have changed for the worse”.

The Junkie, who did not disclosed his name, noted that “Tramol was sold at just Gh 1 when the NDC was in political office.

“But now, that same quantity of Tramol that was sold at Gh 1, now sells at Gh 10 under the Akufo-Addo administration”.

The self-acclaimed drug addict also lamented the high prices of Cocaine, urging the president to intervene on their behalf.

Interestingly, the junkie was decorated in NDC paraphernalia, which gives an indication that perhaps he is an NDC man.
