The Adiembra road blocked to traffic

 

 

STORY

THE ROAD linking Adiembra and Dakwadwom in the Nhyiaeso Constituency, in Kumasi, has been blocked.

Some parts of the road, especially close to the Adiembra bridge, has developed cracks and it is gradually caving in.

Press1News has learnt that the road closure is to help prevent a looming disaster and also protect lives and properties.

Users of the road, notably drivers, had continually complained about the imminent danger on the road but to no avail.

Eventually, incessant calls for the death-trapped road to be blocked and fixed, seems to have been heard by authorities.

Meanwhile, the temporary closure of the road will definitely lead to severe hardships for section of Kumasi residents.

Residents of Adiembra, Atasemanso, Paraku Estate and others, who use the road, have to find alternative routes until the road is fixed.
