SEVEN POLICEMEN have been interdicted over the riots at the Islamic Senior High School (SHS) in Kumasi, so far.
Three senior officers were initially interdicted for the poor handling of the riots, which led to the firing of tear gas.
On Monday, four additional policemen were also interdicted, increasing the number of the interdicted officers to 7.
The four policemen suffered their fate for allegedly passing foul comments about Zongo people in the country.
Their derogatory remarks was recorded on phone. It has since gone viral, sparking anger in the Zongo communities.
