We’re Unwavering Behind NPP—–Nana Yaa Foriwaah of Race Course

Less than 1 minute Minutes

Nana Yaa Foriwaah, a Queen at the Bantama Race Course Market has described as false, a claim by some women that the traders at the arena are in support of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Addressing the media at the market arena, Madam Foriwaah said the traders who spoke at the recent NDC Women’s Manifesto Forum at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) were not authorised by the traders at the Race course to speak for them.

According to the Market Queen, it was very surprising that these traders whose identities are questionable could go and falsely represent all the traders at the Race course in such a malicious manner.

“We’ve been supported by the NPP and the party’s appointees including the Chief of Staff, Madam Frema Osei Opare and the NPP Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako since we were brought here and there is nothing in us that would make us support the NDC”, Madam Foriwaah stated.

Support Services:

Madam Foriwaah commended the NPP for working to make the market environment at the Race course habitable.

She said many renovation works including gravelling that had been done on the grounds of the market were undertaken by the NPP and its assigns.

The Market Queen said previously no one could trade at the area when it rained.

“We’ve been shown kindness by the NPP government and by their efforts we now have a well gravelled ground which enables us to work in rainy seasons”, Nana Foriwaah stressed.

Pledge:

Flanked by many traders at the arena, Nana Foriwaah pledged the support of teh traders for the NPP.

She said they remained indebted to the NPP and would continue to vote for the party’s candidates.

The market queen stressed that the traders at the market would vote to enable the NPP to continue in government.

“As mothers we no longer sell our clothes to support the education of our children due to the Free SHS policy by the NPP and for that singular policy alone we are committed to voting for Dr Bawumia to become President in December 7”, Madam Foriwaah intimated.
