But unknown to him, the NPP members in Manhyia South, who are certainly impressed and thrilled by his outstanding works, have prepared a touching citation to thank him for playing leading roles to advance their constituency.

The citation, read by the NPP Constituency Secretary for Manhyia South, Haruna Alhassan, said Napo in the last 16 years worked assiduously to unite the party in the constituency as one big elephant family.

He also indicated that Napo, as their lawmaker, always shown keen interest in the welfare of his constituents as he readily came to their aid anytime that they called on him for his support or assistance.

Haruna Alhassan said massive developmental projects were undertaken in the constituency by Napo, stating that areas such as roads, education, health, water, sanitation, sports and others, were all transformed.

He also said Napo supported several brilliant-but-needy students in the constituency to climb high the academic ladder through scholarships, stressing that Manhyia South would indeed miss Napo.

Haruna Alhassan, on behalf of the Manhyia South NPP executives, prayed for God’s continued blessings and protection for Napo so that he would become Ghana’s vice president on December 7.

Napo, who listened to the citation attentively, clearly became emotional at a point as he nearly shed tears.
