Golden Kicks eliminated Hearts of Oak SC and Karela United FC, and finally humiliated Attram De Visser 3-1 to book a showdown with 24-time domestic premier league champions in FA Cup final match.

The Accra-based Division One side’s appearance in the FA Cup final puts them in the same class as Nania FC, who won in 2011, Okwahu United, the 2016 finalist, and Tano Bofoakwa United, the 2021 finalists.

With the 2024/2025 GPL slipping through their fingers, Asante Kotoko would want to compensate their numerous fans with the FA Cup to represent the nation in the next second-tier African clubs championship.

Nania FC’s shock win in the 2011 FA Cup final is still fresh in mind, the Porcupine Warriors will certainly want to guard against complacency and fight hard to victory against Golden Kicks, who are bent on pulling off a surprise on Sunday.

The match will be officiated by Selorm Yao Bless, assisted by Paul Atimaka, Theophilus Akugre, and Adaari Abdul Latif as 1st assistant, 2nd assistant, and 4th assistant referees, respectively.
